So, what is mobile-first indexing? Mobile-first indexing means that Google uses the mobile sites or mobile version of sites first, for ranking and indexing of the website

Google introduced this amazing feature in July 2019 for the existing users and the previous users as well. The users starting any website after July 2019 will automatically have this feature in their console.

For this, your website needs to pass a mobile-friendliness test. This test ensures that your website is capable of running on a mobile device and is up to date. 

For this, all you need to do is write your websites’ URL in the mobile-friendliness test and select “run test.” 

The results will show whether your website is mobile-friendly or not.


The user experience (UX) design on mobile is different from other devices. As the screen on the mobile is smaller; therefore, the contents should be designed according to the screen limitation and capacity. Therefore, the UX on mobile helps the website owners to create a website that is best suitable for the mobile devices and helps the customers with a better experience of the content.

It ensures that the context size is made according to the screen of the devices, the font size is monitored, the specific viewport is established for the website, and much more.


Reading on a mobile can be harder than reading on a laptop or tab.
